I have been a little absent here lately. Work continues at a frenetic pace. I went a little cuckoo and we got a puppy mostly on a whim. I saw a local FB post about a family with a litter of yellow labs and there was ONE left. I was hooked and two days later we have a tiny tornado!
His name is Duke and incredibly intelligent. He is working being potty trained and learning basic commands. And he is very active and playful so my crafting time is non-existent. But he is the sweetest and already bonded with both PB and Jellybean. The kids have been asked to step up and help with puppy chores.

My Tangled Yarn Knitting Adventures 
So darn cute! I’m two years into our most recent “puppy” and she’s just now starting to act like a (somewhat) responsible adult. Puppyhood goes fast, but it can feel like forever when you’re in the throes of it.
Puppyhood creates so many, when time passes, fun or “do you remember” moments. Enjoy all of it .. sweet times with your precious Duke.
What a cutie! The first several months will have lots of “what were we thinking?” moments.
We got a miniature schnauzer puppy right before Christmas. My blogging, knitting, sewing, and other creative outlets turned to puppy related ventures. Eventually I will get back into my groove but it seems that it’s taking a lot longer than I expected.
