I have been on the local library waiting list for like two months. But my book finally came in! I have followed this series since book one. I know they aren’t for everyone and it’s pretty easy to solve the crime. But you guys….it’s my guilty pleasure. I love a nice easy read with characters I have bonded with. With all the hurt and drama in the world I like to escape in easy to digest murder mystery novels with quirky female detectives. It’s my happy place.
I’m about halfway through the book and paired it last night with a glass of Rose after putting the kids to bed. I may or may not have stayed WAAAY to late reading and regret it this morning.

My Tangled Yarn Knitting Adventures 
I stayed up WAAY too late working on a sock. The yarn I am using feels so nice in my hands and I am really loving the colors. It was difficult to put down.
Good for you! We all need escape sometimes for our mental health, minimum.
I’m an avid bookworm, a writer, and movie lover… I stay up knitting while listening to audiobooks a lot lately. I read lots of murder mysteries & cozy mysteries, as well.

I love audio books. I have listened to a few I never would have picked up otherwise. Since I’m a SAHM and full time caregiver to my husband’s grandmother, it’s about all I can do when it comes to reading. And knitting is only done at night after everyone goes to bed. Thus I finished no projects last year. And with his grandmother getting worse off I may have to put something aside soon that I don’t want to. 😞

Oh that’s a fun series! I stopped a few books ago but now I’m wondering if she ever really chose between Ranger and the cop (Joe?)!
