We took Dex to the local dog day care for a day (I know we are now spoiling him rotten) as a reward for being a good fur brother to Jellybean. He LOVES it and came home so exhausted he almost fell sleep sitting up. I guess learning to doggy slide is hard work!
Oh how I wish I could have watched him play! What do you do to spoil your fur babies?

Spoil them? I don’t know what you are talking about! Oh, now I get it – you’re talking about the homemade treats, the car rides just because she loves them, the sleeping between us, the special pillow on the couch, the furtive passing of marshmallows, just to name a few.
My dogs go BONKERS for marashmallows!
I let them clean out the peanut butter jars for recycling, but that’s not spoiling them, right?
My cats have their own beds with blankets and doll pillows. I make them toys. Plus we buy them toys. One of the cats has an eye issue and needs extra protein in her diet. So they get tuna, chicken, Turkey or eggs almost everyday. Yep mine are spoiled.
Looks like he had a blast. We took our dogs for swims all the time, have them I’ve cubes and let them Bob for passes in the baby pool. They loved to go after them and then chew on them. Not sure why. We had wild past trees on my dad’s property and they would always bring them back.
That’s adorable! I’ve never seen a dog use a slide before. The best way to spoil my dog is by giving him an apple. Yes, he IS a little weird 😉

Well, I don’t think it’s spoiling them at all! I love my dogs, even when I hate them but that’s another story! I cook for them, every day. It really started years ago when I had a puppy with terrible food allergies. They get organic chicken cooked with all kinds of vegetables and fruits and grains. My people family likes my dog food too, I just add some salt and pepper for them. They love broccoli, green beans, carrots, lettuce, sweet potatoes, and Apple’s for treats. It saddens me when I go to the grocery store and see that I feed my fur babies better than most people feed their children. Speaking of which, it’s time to feed my kids!

We will do the same thing a few times a month, on errand days. We visited the daycare yesterday and it was awesome. They have pools and lagoons for play.
My dog is about 9 years old now. I smiled huge when I read iknead2knit comments. She describes it so well. 🙂 Specially the car rides. Long walks to go to the flower seller to get fresh flowers, bathtime, all the snackies, and having Mommy put the fan on when we are feeling to warm. 🙂

Nope just dex. We like one syllable names very effective for shouting when someone is rolling in poo or eating out of the trash!
