Finished: Juneau Woolies Hat

The decreases for the Juneau Woolies Hat have been sorted and I have a FO!

Pattern: My own 88 stitch basic beanie “recipe”

Yarn: Juneau Woolies Cozy Toes Sock Yarn in Chum colorway and Cascade Yarn Kid Seta mohair

Needles: US 8

I ended up using 37 grams of the sock yarn and 16 grams of the mohair. This resulted in a 356 yard hat that is light as a feather. I have a ton of the sock yarn leftover to make another decent sized project. I am still working on finishing my second Boreal Hat so I should shift my mojo to finishing that project instead of starting a new hat.

Happy Knitting!!

  1. Love the color. I usually cast on one extra stitch and at the end of the first round I knit that extra stitch with the first stitch of the new round, it makes the connection jag less.
