My husband sock has a heel!

The 3×1 ribbing was very fiddly to pick up especially in dark yarn. But I got there!
And all in all I was left with a very nice stockinette heel via the afterthought heel. And my Kitchener is getting much better if I do say so myself. (Though I still look up directions every single time.)
I’m hoping by weeks end to have a complete sock for the hubby to try on. Fingers crossed anyway!
Happy Knitting!
Wow super work you must have the patience of a saint π
That is a nice design and the color of the yarn is something that my husband would like π
Way to go! I have yet to tackle socks!
It looks great. Now that I finally understand kitchner stitch I use whenever I can.
My husband isn’t allowed to have knitted socks. I am fairly certain he would leave them astray in the garden, and I would come upon one while weeding some lettuce. Sigh.
I just started Rob’s third pair of socks. He loves the first two so much, how could I resist?
Obviously!
How lovely! I haven’t tried afterthought heels yet. And we have the same knitting bag! π
I looked up how to do the afterthought heel after your last post and I must say it looks way better than I thought it would from the instructions. What a great idea. Thanks
It’s really rather easy. I like the fit of it because I have a wide foot and I can control the depth and width for a roomier fit.
