This Frankenstein Hat is addictive. It’s just so stinking satisfying to use up each scrap!

The orange is completely used up and I am three rows from finishing the copper. I think next up will be the variegated browns. I am still using a US 8 needle but I am working over 96 stitches to make a slightly larger hat.
The scraps are shrinking fast, I may need to pull a fifth scrap ball to make the full length of this hat….

Have you tried spiral knitting using three or more colors of yarns? It makes a striped fabric without the jogs between the colors.
I have done that in some hats in the past where I was making repeating stripes. But I haven’t thought of that when using large color blocks
