Sharing Creativity In The Round

It’s hot as BLAZES here in the Midwest and here I am knitting a super bulky cowl….

The second Sharing Creativity Cowl is now joined in the round. Because I did use a little bit of the end of the first skein from the first project, I do plan to add at least a couple of rows to the height of this cowl. I think it will improve the fit of the finished accessory but also maximize the use of yarn.

Will I end up playing yarn chicken, maybe? But it will feel good to finish this yarn and mark complete in my stash. Will I buy Caracol again….maybe, for the right project. To keep in my stash….probably not.

Happy Knitting!!

  1. I’m in the midwest and I agree, it’s hotter than a firecracker!! I don’t know how people managed to live (literally) with out air conditioners before they were invented!! today were only got into the upper 90’s with the heat index but the last few days we were at about 106 with the heat index, yuck! They say for the next couple of days the humidity will still be sweltering :(.

Hope you don’t lose to yarn chicken. I was making a 10X10 block to go with other blocks by other people, for a blanket to be given in our knitting group to someone who is moving. It was some left over from a hat I knit and I was worried about yarn chicken as well, LOL, I managed and had about 1 yard left over, whew!
