How could you not love this face?!

But I think he wants me to put the knitting away…
Happy Knitting!
My poor fur baby got a little too rambunctious at the park the other day and opened up his foot. Despite our best at home care a visit to the vet was necessary. Dex COULD not wait to leave the vet!

But it was probably due to the dreaded cone. That face!!! With salve and antibiotics he should be right as rain in a week. (And stop knocking stuff over with his satellite dish, lol.)
He’s just going to need a little extra TLC!
I saw this on Pinterest and busted up laughing. Source unknown but pretty much sums up a Friday after the week I’ve had!
I’m *fingers crossed* down to my last row of jellybean’s blanket!! Then it gets a good soak and blocking to flatten out those hexigons!. I have yarn left over so in considering a single crochet or some other basic edging to go around the outside to give it a more polished look?
In the mean time my snuggle bunny and I have some knitting to do!!
Who needs socks when you have a fur blanket!? Lol
Happy Knitting!!
I have a dog wit I have a dog with propensity to sit on my knitting. I though this was supposed to be a cat thing? I have a half day off from the big kid job and it’s a rainy soggy day outside. So what better than to work on my August FAL project while sitting on my couch and listen to the rain fall softly outside?
Well apparently Chloe had other designs on it….so I headed to downstairs to throw in some laundry. What did I find as I exited the laundry room and walking through our guest room? Why, that is Chloe snuggling into my Chevron Lap Blanket on the guest bed.
And by snuggling, I mean rubbing her stinky wet rainy day dog smell all over it. Good thing it’s acrylic and I can toss it in the wash, lol. That’s just what I need…more laundry!
She’s too cute to be mad at long. And as long as she is snuggling my FO I can go and grab the WIP blanket before she can plant on top of it!!!
Hope all is well for you this Thursday!!!
Since the move to the new house we have been taking the dogs to a new park. This park has wide open spaces and lots of fresh air. And most recently a pair of birds have taken up residence in a nearby tree. Chloe has taken quite the interest in them. First we exit the car and she sights her prey…
Then she stalks her prey through the tall grass….
Then she goes on point…(we never trained her to do this. I swear she just started doing it, lol!)
The birds of course HATE her and dive bomb at every turn…
After a few good barks from her and swoops by the birds we happily climb back in the car and go home for a bowl of cool water and belly rubs!
I love this puppy and all her quirks. I know she will never actually catch her birds. But she gets such joy from trying I can’t begrudge her. (I promise I will never let any harm come to her or any birds)
