My Frankensocks are finally getting some new love. And I am using my sock ruler 🙂
The first sock (left) are almost all out of green and right at 7 inches. The second sock still needs another inch of foot to get to my 7 inches. Then I should be able to attach my next yarn and start the gusset heel.
The first one went so fast and the second one is the same amount of stitches and taking approximately 1,999 years. Isn’t that how knitting goes?

For my Frankensocks, I have completed all the pink yarn!
I have spit spliced in the green yarn and will continue to finish the foot portion. I haven’t measured the sock yet but I do plan to do a toe up gusset heal. So I need like 7 or 7.5 inches of foot before I can start.
These will be truly wild/frankenstein socks but they will use up a good amount of leftovers and make cozy footwarmers. It could be that Jellybean inherits these for as long as they fit him…
