Meet The Author

My book club had a really fun outing this month. We all managed to get tickets to an author event at the library.

There is a new Miss Marple book for the first time in 50 years! We had the great pleasure to listen to Lucy Foley talk about her book and how she writes.

And as a bonus, we all got copies of the book! Our book club is reading this for our next month meeting. I am doing a combination of reading and listening, switching back and forth as my schedule works. The book has four main suspects or character groups so it takes some brain space to keep up with the plot as the Agatha Christie style of writing is very complex and delicious.

Happy Reading!!

Ready for Wooly Decreases

Fall sports are winding down and I am on my last few hours of sitting waiting for lessons to finish. My Juneau Woolies Hat is ready for decreases.

This hat has been delightful. The Kid Seta is so very soft knit up with the sock yarn. This hat feels almost weightless it is so light. The marbling and flecks in the sock yarn peak out nicely from from the halo of the mohair.

Now I just need golf to be over so I can go home and get my DPNs to start the decreases! Happy Knitting!!

Socks And Cupcakes

Hello from the indoor trampoline park! The 2019 Cozy Knitter Advent Socks are getting some love while I watch cupcakes being inhaled.

I am just trying to work these in tandem and keep the socks even. No other reason than it makes my brain happy. I may need to put the yarn tails on the inside as they tickle my hands when I am knitting.

It has been a delightful afternoon listening to my audio book, watching Jellybean and his friends and make neat little stitches on this sock.

Happy Knitting!!
